After a sleepless night from still being awake until gone 5am, with aches in so many parts of my body from over-doing it yesterday moving the furniture, I finally woke at gone 9am and abandoned the morning plans, taking it easy til afternoon, when I had no choice but to brave the winds and take JPD to his first choir rehearsal of the year! At least today I didn't need to stay at church, his best friends mum gave me a lift home and her husband dropped JPD back later.
On the way to choir, I stopped off and spent my christmas money, the last of my 2013 savings from my money box & the little still in my savings account. I bought a new charm for my Sabo bracelet.
I was supposed to get the bracelet for my 45th birthday from my dad and JPD but Dad passed away 3wks before and I therefore never got my bracelet. I started a saving fund with any bits of change in my purse each evening (anything less than 50p, so if the change made say 55p, just the 5p went in, even if it was all 5 & 10ps!) Having to dip into my savings regularly, meant it took me two years to save enough, but this year's birthday, I got there. The bracelet came with a heart charm on it that said love on it. (fitting for JPD since I went into labour on valentines day!) JPD was given pocket money by my aunt to get me something for my birthday (for the first time ever!) & adding a couple of pounds of his pocket/choir money, he got me a happy birthday charm for it. Then this christmas one of the choir mums bought me a charm for it from JPD. Another heart, this one with best mom on it. So today I got another heart, this one with an angel silhouette cut into it. (christmas fitting & I love angels). Not even on my wish list like the best mom one but I love both!
Now its time for a short read and then bed!
